Engine throwing code on a 2016 Ram with the 3.6 Pentastar engine. The 3 way valve had gone out. This was an easy fix that took about 20 minutes and it helped my truck pass inspection.

It is obviously an aftermarket part that is 49.00. I returned it and got another one and it is also defective. The dealership charges 499.00 for the same part as well as advance auto. I paid twice to have the part put in my vehicle only to end up taking it to the dealership to put in an oem part. Big waste of time and money. My advice is to buy oem parts for your particular make and model. You save in the end.

As others say, this does not last. Worked for 2 months for me, and them started throwing errors.

Purchased in June and had to replace it again 3 months later. Turned my engine light off very temporarily but did not fix the problem.

I got this for my pickup, just to find out that my pickup doesn't even have this part. And because this was a free item, I cannot return it for that reason. Otherwise, it looks solid and well made with no issues that I can see. I have no issues with the item, I am just not able to use it. Take my word for it, do your research on you specific make/model before you purchase, because your vehicle may not have one, my 17 ram 1500 lonestar does not.

Installed. Had to remove - scope identified the heater valve in the unit was broken
