Most similar power inlet boxes have a different design, which is cramped and hard to use. This one allows generous space for wiring, and opens on the bottom, which better shelters the plug from weather. Plus, the covered, gasketed holes are much easier to work with than knockouts. If you don't mind the larger form-factor, then you'll be glad you went with this box.

This is a sturdy well made unit. The best features are its weather proof, receptacle faces down making it water proof and the electric cord remains straight relieving tension that could cause it to disconnect. You will need to buy the correct screws the install the receprical M4x7

Adapter plate screws interfered with the fit of a liquid tite connector. I got it all to work by not using the plates and sealing the screw holes.

I prepared myself for power outages. Some times up to four days. It will be helpful.

Built strong, easy bottom flip door for power cable, able to run in rain without getting connection wet.

Overall, the product has a well thought out general design. Manufacturing quality seems excellent. The cover plates and gaskets for the conduit holes are a good idea. But the way these cover plates and gaskets are implemented need improvement. Typical lock nuts for 3/4 and 1/2 conduit fittings will damage the gaskets. For the 3/4 gaskets and cover plate, a 3/4 water tight rigid hub that has a round nut does fit well. It is large enough to press against the box sheet metal (not damaging the gasket), and small enough not to run into the cover plate screws and bosses. A well known big box store had these hubs in stock. A 1/2 hub or typical lock nut are too small to engage the box sheet metal, and a 1 inch hub or locknut is probably too large given the cover plate screw spacing. In addition, other reports that screws for the receptacle are the wrong size are correct. Three M4-0.7 screws are needed.
