We use grilling planks frequently. We usually get them for about $6 for a two pack, but have paid as much as $16 for a two pack when desperate. So $35 for 30 of them?...Definitely worth a try. We haven't used them yet, but they should be fine! We only got 29 (supposed to be a 30-pack) but whatever...still a good value. They are a bit rough around the edges, (literally) and irregularly shaped, but who cares? They are all roughly the same size, I got no broken ones. Their purpose is to flavor grilled foods. You literally burn them and throw them away. So for the price, this is a really good value.

I should have spent a bit more and got a superior product. Not a strong cedar scent and most of the boards were warped or cracked and in pieces. Price would need to come down further to justify buying again. Sorry, guys.

Keep in mind these cedar planks are “secondsâ€. They are not going to be the same quality as the ones that cost $5 each at retail stores. I eat a lot of fish so I was delighted to find these, they are a lot more economical than the ones sold at my local grocery store. They get the job done and I love saving money!

These planks are not worth buying. They are extremely rough to the point of not being safe to use for grilling since your food is likely to pick up splinters. I had to sand the “smoother†side (and neither side is close to smooth) with 220 sandpaper to make them remotely useable. Plus many have holes in them. And when sanding several of them just split down the middle. You get what you pay for, and these aren’t worth paying for.

still a great price and usable, but lots of crumbled pieces when I opened box: broken out knots. Still usable for cooking, but I didn't expect this. Thought seconds would be semiclean cuts.

These are great, a good buy. I love making cedar plank salmon, and these work out just right for me. They even fit right into a half sheet baking pan, two or three boards.., forget at the moment but I actually found that pretty helpful.

they have a few blemishes, cracks and holes. They still make smoke and flavor my fish. For 1 /5 the price of my other choice, I love them.

I have purchased from this seller several times in the past and was always satisfied with price and quality. I know they are "factory seconds" so I was not expecting perfection but these fall apart in my hand before I even get to soak them. When they split down the middle the way they seem to be doing it makes it difficult to even get one slice of Salmon on them since the plank ends up breaking into two 2 inch +/- wide pieces.
