40Max went to the website of Less Lethal Ballistics and stole all their graphics and text. The real deal is the 8.4g Smasher from Less Lethal Ballistics. Not a 10g ball. A 10g ball drops faster and doesn’t work as well in the launchers specified. Ripped off the research and just changed the name… 40Max did!

I've got a few old paintball guns kicking around and with more and more crime on the rise in this part of Canada, it's always a task to try and figure out good home defense without getting into the illegal side of things. I appreciate the fact that these are very nice heavy metal balls that are coated with PVC rubber. They're not sticky so I don't think they'll be sticking in the barrel. The 68 caliber slugs fit perfectly in my Hopper and after testing a few out in the countryside can confirm that they do a nice job of punching good size dents in particle board. Definitely not what the bad guys will be expecting should they decide to make entrance unannounced or uninvited.

Diameter of each round is exactly 17 mm, and all of them are nearly perfectly spherical. Haven't cracked one open yet to examine the interior, but the weight makes it clear that they have a metallic core. In fact they were a little heavier than I expected, but the profiles and black plastic exteriors are all consistent so the reliability is there. Strangely enough, they came packaged in a clear plastic bottle resembling vitamins (ps do not swallow lol); and despite the large "40" sticker plastered on the front, there are only 30 inside. So none were missing. Given their size and weight, I can't say I can recommend them for competition slingshots, but they'll do well in larger firearms. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting so they definitely get the thumbs up.

These metal balls have a good weight to them and a smooth pvc covering on them. I didn't read the size properly so they are too big for my air soft gun but they should fit into my paintball gun. Seem like great quality and could do some damage for sure.
