These are nice and bright and work as described, so of course I can’t leave well enough alone. I have one that I needed the solar panel decoupled from the rest of the light (needed it on an extension, facing a different area) and that mod was pretty easy. The solar panel lines run through the hinged mount, and have just enough slack to splice in an extension. The other I wanted in an area with no sunlight, so I removed the solar panel and battery and picked up a 3V 1A AC power adapter for a few bucks and wired that in. The battery inside is a regular 3.7V 18650 sized deal, and that can be repurposed. I haven’t tested to see if it’s 2200mah as they claim- the battery is unlabeled. The power adapter mod works nicely, and preserves the PIR sensor and remote. To get to the inside of these things you’ll need to carefully separate the clear plastic face (from the biggest/center LED element). It’s got a sticky seal for water protection, so be patient.

I ordered these motion-activated security lights to serve as a deterrent to coyotes that have infested the area where I live. The hungry predators have snatched numerous cats and small dogs from the back yards of homeowners who have fences/walls less than 6 feet high. I have small dogs and don't want them to become an easy meal for coyotes that could easily jump over my 4' walls. I go out with the dogs - especially at night when coyotes typically enter back yards - but my home has a small doggie door to allow them to go outside to relieve themselves when nature calls, so I can't always be out there with them. Until I can heighten my walls to at least 6 feet, I'm hoping that these lights will scare off any coyotes that jump the walls. I have read that most coyotes will flee if startled by sudden bright lights. I'm hoping that's true. These lights are motion-activated, solar-powered, and can be aimed at specific areas in the yard. They work as advertised. I have tested them after dark and am favorably impressed with how much light they throw out and how well the motion sensor works.

I like the flexibility of this lights, as you can point them in multiple directions. The sensor has great reach which I had problems with other ones. The battery last all night wich I'm happy about. I will purchased again for my next project

Would be nice if light ON was time adjustable. 20 seconds is relatively short. Does not appear to be much range on the motion detector sensor. Super easy mounting and adjustability of individual lights is really nice.

Not crazy bright but more than sufficient for my back yard. Love it!

I love these outdoor solar lights that come with a remote control. They are nice and bright and I am going to even put some on my barn. I would definitely buy them again.
