I'll start this review by saying I'm very impressed with the capabilities of this inverter for the price. I'm using this unit to replace a ~15 year old low frequency modified sine wave Tripp-lite APS2448. My old unit's modified sine wave output was fine back in the day, but it has been causing issues with modern electronics amd motors so I opted to upgrade. I was hesitant to purchase a high frequency inverter but I can say, for my use case, (backup power for my IT rack, lights, boiler & its pumps, select outlets, etc.) this unit performs flawlessly. My old inverter caused a hum in any inductive loads, and would occasionally trip the protection devices in my boiler as the pumps weren't operating at the correct RPM. This new unit runs all the loads connected to it as good as my utility's power. I was most drawn to this unit as I could use my existing 48V LiFePo4 battery, and can expand my solar array without modifying my contract with my utility provider. I've yet to add solar power to this unit but I've no reason to believe it won't perform as flawlessly as the rest of the functions of this inverter.Pros:Low self consumption of ~35 watts.Cooling fans are on constantly, but modulate with the load so they're not noisy or wasting excessive power.Output voltage and frequency are both easily adjusted (220-240V 50-60hz)Battery parameters can be adjusted easily to accommodate lead, and various lithium chemistries.Unit can prioritize solar, battery, or utility consumption. It can also have priority set for what energy source charges the battery. The inverter can charge the battery at up to 80 amps, and charge rates for utility power or solar can be individually defined.Cons:This unit has rather small wiring terminals; you'll need pin adaptors if you want/need to use oversized conductors on any connection. The junction box is cramped and rather difficult to navigate with large cables.Other thoughts:This is a high frequency inverter. This has several tradeoffs such as limited starting power for inductive loads, lighter weight than low frequency units, lower self consumption than low frequency units, potentially shoter life span, etc. This inverter has no integral physical disconnects for AC or DC. (This may be a pro or a con in your use case)This is a 230V L-N inverter. You'll need to run an isolation transformer to run any 120V loadsAll of that being said, if you know what you're getring into, this unit is phenomenal value for money.

Bought in July. Installed in my cabin so I do not use this often. Had issues with it.. it will beep for hours without any apparent reason or error code. I tried whatsapp and emails and got no response for months. amazon was kind enough to take this garbage back and charged me a restocking fee of $90. Don't make my mistake.. Just buy from a real manufacturer and don't waste your money

Had a issue with the 1st one and contacted seller .. Replacement arrived faster than the original I think. This is a GREAT seller and so glad I went with them . Its nice doing business with someone that you know will take care of the consumer after the sale when/if problems arise. EVERYONE has problems , not everyone bothers to fix them

I have had this item for just under a year now. It has been in use for about 6 months. No real issues with it yet. There are a few items to note though. The connection lugs are all very small and difficult to snug up. You have to use a small regular head screwdriver to secure them. They seem and feel "cheap", I am afraid about overtightening them, worried it may damage the plates they are mounted on.The inverter did not come with a data logger, I had to purchase separately for about $80. The logger only updates once every 5 minutes, so if you are messing with panel angle or direction to see if you can make improvements, you can only get new results every 5 minutes.Overall this unit met my needs so I went with it. I am happy with the results. Please understand that is only a 120 volt inverter, so you can not run 240 appliances with it.

I can't tell if I'm just missing a setting or if the charger is defective. But, I won't know because the manual is barely written in English. I already ordered an Outback, which ive had in the past. Manual is perfect and if I have a technical question beyond the manual, they connect me with an engineer.

paid $1,143.66 Canadian for this unit on March 30/24, No response from seller in regard to the unit not working from time of installation. No help from anyone, very difficult to contact anyone. Unit is defective and has 2 year warranty. How do you get a refund or a working unit from this company? Very frustrating and unsatisfied with this purchase.
