The cord was simple to wire to the camera. I made a little notch in the garage door frame to accommodate the wire and then straight to the outlet in the garage. Easy peasy. Once wired, I went to the app and opened the camera that I just plugged the cord into. The app recognized the power and took off my low battery warning. This will give me peace of mind while I’m gone for an extended vacation. Great value and quality for the price.

This power adapter for the Blink cameras is a great option, especially if you have a camera that is frequently triggered. If you have outdoor power available, this is a better alternative than the various solar panels which have rechargeable batteries that may not be replaceable. There is no need for a separate USB power brick as this unit plugs directly into a standard 110v outlet. The power converter is weather-sealed and can be easily mounted with a couple of screws (get your own stainless screws). The connector for the camera also makes a good weather-tight seal. The flat cable is easy to route and tuck-away making it almost invisible.My camera operations and image quality are the same as when I was using batteries.

It works as a power supply should. Ironically the cord from plug to power supply is too long. But since I have it hardwired to the power i was able to make it work. It hides away nicely and the camera seems to work better with a more substantial power supply.
