Got this tip to spray Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim and Cabinet urethane paint as well as their Pro Industrial urethane (which I guess is similar to Emerald?) and works great. The instructions of the Emerald paint says to use a 0.013 tip or higher, however I had no issues with this 0.010 tip combined with a Graco X5 airless sprayer. Turned the pressure dial about a quarter up from start position. I did have issues with spraying Extreme Bond primer, it kept clogging up. Not sure if it was user error or just that it's too thick (I'm new to spray painting). Managed to get the job done with frequent turning tip to unclog position but will never use it for that purpose again. Bought a 312 tip for that which I have yet to try but I'm sure it'll be just right. I recommend this for Emerald urethane paint.

This is an excellent spray tip for jobs that need a fine smooth finish. I use it mainly for spraying trim and sometimes cabinet doors. Most recently was used to spray a moderate sized bedroom wainscoting. Has very little overspray and uses low pressure (about 1,000 PSI) so it is very easy to control and sucks up paint slowly. I prefer to start at very low pressure and slowly increase it until the fingering on the spray disappears.You MUST filter your paint - I only spray latex and on my first attempt it kept getting clogged every 5 seconds...not used to this as my 515 will spray just about anything through it. I found the easiest way to fix this is put a screen over a 5 gallon bucket and dump all of your paint into it which will filter and box it at the same time. Then dump back into your gallon containers if you want and start spraying. Cleanup is quick too, scrub off the paint visible on the exterior, shoot some clean water thru and you’re done. Only works with the RAC X blue guards.

I bought this after another review on a social media site that used this tip for spraying kitchen cabinets. I read the Graco instructions and I'm certain it said that a 14 or 16 tip was for latex. I tried that and ended up with some runs and just couldn't move fast enough in certain situations to avoid the buildup. So I can verify that this tip will work with the Ultra QuickShot for spraying latex paint.

Fine finish if used correctly. Will clog a lot with certain primers, and unstrained paints. Really easy to unclog, but is a bit of nuisance, and messes with the flow of applying the paint to a nice wet edge.

I struggled with my paint sprayer with over spray and excess paint until my buddy who is a contractor suggested I switch to a fine / low pressure tip. Night and day. Love it. Works really well, particularly for spraying exposed beam on T&G ceiling. I did 4 ceilings inside my house and outside porch ceiling. It was a breeze. Use if for smaller wall projects as well. May take bit longer with a narrower spray pattern but better spray control = better result!

Our go-to fine finish tip! Smaller fan width but also works well at about 900-1000 PSI which helps save paint!It’s also reversible which means you can turn it 180 degrees, sprays and then turn it back to clear the line super easily!

This tip is a game changer it’s what should be sold with the machine. Don’t buy the cheap tips the quality of your work will not be the same with them. Anyone that says this tip will not work X5 machine is full of it I had no issues with think paint.
