Does what it is supposed to do. Kind of worry about long term durability, 3-4 years down the road. But it's not expensive to replace if needed.

I almost didn't buy this because it seemed so simple and unnecessary. Last year, it took 5 of us to put on the pool cover and it was so hard to get the straps in place, especially the last half. This year, my son and I did the whole pool cover on our own and had it done in 10 minutes. We couldn't believe how such a simple product made such a huge difference.

The extra length of the tool gives good leverage compared to the regular tools. I added a small hose clamp halfway along to stop the hook riding up when I was pulling against the springs,
