I'm not sure why finished wood thresholds are so expensive but this was the cheapest I could find. Our contractor put it in the bathroom door and it looks great. Matches our wood floors. I have bought two more and plan to replace a couple of cheap-looking thresholds in other rooms.

This looks great per the picture, and I haven’t received / installed it yet - but I expect it to be fine. Just one thing.. sales page says $9.25 / ft. It’s 3 ft long and costs $36.99? I guess I was absent that day in math class. (I can’t seem to get there from here). Very pleased to be buying another American made product though!

Transition strip/threshold should have a taper on both sides. This on had no taper, just a steep drop on one side. Useless. The picture on the package wrapping and on Amazon did NOT match the product.
