I use these for keychains as well as for closures for my dogs leash. They are very sturdy and I will continue to buy them. The build quality is And the whole capacity is enough for my 60 pound pit bull to repeatedly stretch the leash and test the strength. I could not be more impressed with how strong these tiny little carabiners are.

This 10pk of carabiners was delivered in surprisingly excellent condition. I always have concerns with black or color-coated metal objects getting shipped. It’s always nice to be pleasantly surprised.Here’s a quick breakdown of the highs and lows of these carabiners as I see them. For more details read beyond the list.Pros:- Look and feel both sturdy and strong- Hefty- Black coating looks great and arrived fully unscratched- Individually wrapped to prevent damage during shippingCons:- The lister provided product photos above that show use on a hammock and swing, but the description states “Warning: not applicable for climbing, swing, hammock.†Read carefully and don’t put yourself at risk- The spring back of the clips feel weaker than expected / as compared to similar products, but this doesn’t hinder their functionality- If the coating gets scratched or damaged this product can rustThe clips secure well and feel very strong. We use carabiners for tons of things in my house, but almost none of those uses involve much weight. I wish I had the ability to fully test the capacity, but because I am unable to at this time I will simply guarantee that if one ever doesn’t hold up to regular use I will update my review. So far they have held up well to wrangling my keys and survived a weekend campout.There are only two drawbacks that concern me about this product. The first is the fact that the photos for this product directly contradict the description, which makes me nervous. The images at the time of this review show these being used for hanging a swing and hammock, both of which the description tells you NOT to do. Be safe and be sure to read the full description before deciding this is the right product for you. The second drawback is that they can and will rust if the coating is scratched or damaged. This can be easily remedied by using clear nail polish over any small scratches that you pick up before using it outdoors or in a very humid environment.Overall, at less than a dollar a piece at the time of this review, they meet expectations and compare well to similar products. I believe that they will hold up well for my family's random general uses and believe most people with similar uses will be equally happy, but DO NOT PURCHASE FOR HAMMOCKS, SWINGS, or CLIMBING.
