Aluminum pop rivets. They expand like a dry wall molly. Good for using with plastics as one or more of the materials being bonded together. I used these rivets for replacing a rusted metal hinge on a plastic deck box used around our pool. I attached an aluminum hinge to a plastic deck box with these aluminum pop rivets. The standard pop rivets didn't feel secure in the plastic deck box. I replace the standard pop rivets with this expanding tri-fold pop rivet. Feels much more secure. I can also you these pop rivets on my kayaks for a better grip when I can't get access to use nuts and bolts.

When repairing a door hidge on pontoon...after trying 2 other sizes and types of rivets this one finally did the trick and held my door in place. Others simply broke off after a little pressure.I will use these from now on.

Bought to replace drilled out awning rivets in my camper ae dometic sunchaser awning when I replaced fabric. Look identical to old ones just new. Now i have enough to replace it 14 more times. Most sellers want to charge $20+ for 6 rivets. Why?
