This is a neat little controller. I got this more for a special effect controller for walking into a room but using the same concept as it was intended for. With the three different modes you can create some neat effects for a walkway or hallway. I like that is has 32 channels you can control a lot a leds with this thing.

I just got into this item for install and it looked like the sensor wires were gonna be too short so I decided to install them first. My assumption was correct and the manufacturer doesn’t offer an extension for them. Now I will need to do some spicing to get them to work. 🤞ðŸ¼that it will still function correctly. Funny thing is this controller does 32 stairs and I only have 22 with only 1 landing and no switchbacks. Wires are ran as straight as possible down the side.

Motion detectors do not match pictures of the item listed online and they are very large diameter almost 1". See picture. I imagined they won't be larger then half that size by looking at the picture of the product. Also shown brackets for surface mounting are not included in the box, but that wouldn't be a problem for me cuz I wouldn't need them anyways, I wanted to do flush mount installation into the wall. The only problem for me is that they would be very noticeablebe cause of their Chrome accent color and very large diameter and I didn't want that. I wanted them to be as last noticeable as possible on the wall, and for that they need to be much smaller in size and preferably white color. It would be nice if we could choose the types of motion detectors and their colors.I did check out the effects on the controller when I powered it up to test and like them all except that the unit doesn't have fade in and out effect that other controllers do and I wanted that.These are my two prime reasons for returning this controller. :( I really like the rest of the features including the ease of programming with only three buttons. Fortunately I found the one that I like better that also comes with remote control which I don't care about, but has fade in and out feature and even easier to program. I also like the night light mode effect that keeps all your channels turned on at 1% brightness. This is probably unique feature only on this unit and I am missing that on the one that I chosen instead...In any case I give this controller 4 stars for the mentioned above reasons and it probably work fine for most people. The construction quality seems to be good. I would be confident to keep it running 24/7 inside my house.Almost forgot to mention one other thing that unit says shortcut proof instead of shirt circuit proof.So if the seller reads this, please relay this message to the makers of the unit. They have some room for improvements I mentioned in this review.Hope this helps to someone.

Finally goit this installed today, and it works very well. One sensor at the top and one at the bottom, and now the lights per-stair come on as soon as someone approaches them, and off after 30 seconds with no movement.All the terminals are cut right, threaded right, etc. Screws are tight, soilder joints good, well manufactured, I feel confident leaving it in the wall.5/5 great product, works exactly like it's supposed to and does the job well at fraction of the price of the "automation" IOT stuff.Oh thats another thing - this controller works with the need to connect to wifi. :p
