I ordered the wrong hammer - totally fault. Not only did the vendor correct my error, they allowed me to keep the original. Can't get better customer service than that.The hammer itself is everything as advertised. Should last a long, long time.

Aside from the fact it did not come with it's box and the tip is scratched and dented as well as much of the metal area, I would assume mine is was used scratched up and return. View the pics, nothing near new. It appears to be strong and sturdy. I'll update my rating in a couple weeks while in the desert hoping this holds up. A bit concerned that it's used and returned however. Really tired of Amazon not vetting these sellers.

Good quality steel but the rubber grip does not stay in place. Every few minutes, you need to beat the grip back into the steel shaft. Very annoying.
