This set of rulers contains 32 clear rulers, and at the current price (just under $9) to me it's quite a steal! Now - these are NOT super thick, but I like that they're clear as they give you an unobstructed view to what is going on underneath which can be helpful while you're measuring (for kids, especially).And that is who I got this for - my classroom. You might note from the included picture that you can see really easily through the ruler, which is of course a bonus for kids lining up lines to measure. One side is cm, and the other side inches.It's a good (large) set of rulers for a classroom or other group setting in my opinion, it was relatively inexpensive, and although they're a bit thin, they definitely do the job. Recommend.

These are classic rulers like you remember from school. They are entirely flexible - they do not have the metal straightedge some rulers have, but their edges are plenty straight anyway. They are 1 foot long, and are labeled in inches to the 16ths as well as metric.You get 32 of them at about three-for-a dollar, which seems a bit expensive, as they're easily bent and therefore can break. If cared for they'd last a long time, but they probably won't be. You can get standard wooden rulers that will likely last longer, for considerably less. However, if you absolutely have to have transparent rulers, these are a good option.
