While being plastic these are decent quality. I installed them on my sliding door curtains because they had strings on the back that went over the rod and didnt last long. The rubber inserts are fantastic to keep things quiet when the ladies sneak in late at night...

I have ordered these grommets before and used them on two different sets of curtains. I have been pleased as they are easy to use and look nice, even though they are made of plastic. However, this time one was broken (as shown in the photo). Therefore, I am short one grommet for my project.

I ironed a thin two sided facing between the fabric so my fabric would not fray. This worked well to help the fabric keep it's shape. I took the side of the ring side with the small notch and placed it on the back side of the curtain. I smoothed the fabric around it. The top ring easily snapped on. A few of the 128 rings that I applied were press together. I gently and easily pried them apart. This did not seem to effect their use. Someone had mentioned some rings had a little silver plastic rough spot. I was easily able to scrape any of these plastic edges off with my finger nail.

These are nice looking grommets and they are very easy to apply. The tiny pegs inside of the grommets hold the fabric together. The addition of the inner plastic ring is a great idea and it makes sliding the curtain much easier and smoother. I am very happy I got these grommets for the curtains I was making.

These grommets are great! I used them on Ikea Vilborg curtains because they weren't sliding smoothly on the rod. It was very easy to install, with only a marker and cisors required.The result speak for itself. Functionality-wise, I don't have any issue with the rod anymore. And on the aesthetic side, I find it rather satisfying. I used 18 grommets, and came across an extra 2 that were a bit scuffed, so make sure you order more grommets than you'll use.

These are so easy to use. I didn’t even have to measure since I simply used another curtain which was the same size and already had a grommet top. I used that curtain as the template, marking a circle where each grommet was placed. There are no instructions with the packet but the instructions can be found above on this page. The packet does come with its own template. Be aware the grommets are a lightweight plastic but they did the job. Once finished and hung the curtains slide easily on the rod and look great. I’m very happy with this purchase.
