I have bought this before and it really helps with batting practice. The bat is skinny so they have to really see the ball to get a good hit. It’s a good weight too for younger kids.

Kids LOVE baseball! I took my great granddaughter to the park to slide but her friend convinced her to play baseball instead. I was a bit worried when he pulled out his alminum bat and hardball as she is only 7 years old. I recalled fondly playing wiffle ball as a kid and sought one out at the local dollar stores and Walmart but without luck. Once again Amazon.com rescued me, the bat and balls were both promptly delivered ahead of schedule and we're as I remembered in terms of quality, these are not the cheap Chinese knock offs so common among many toys, these puppies are made in the good ol' US of A and their quality shows it. She looks forward to playing wiffle ball daily and gets far more use from it than the trampoline, now if only they could combine the 2 sports, WIFFLOLENE!

Love the wiffle bat. Just the right length. I use it as a training aide when I am walking my Newfoundland dogs to remind them to not come running into me as they get so excited running and playing and not paying attention to where they are going. I just use the wiffle bat to tap them before they crash into me. It gets their attention so they know where I am. It's like a good walking stick, light weight and keeps my balance on uneven ground. I also use it in the house to tap on the floor when my Dachshunds won't stop barking. It gets there attention and they stop barking. I know that it is not what the wiffle bat was made for but it works great for my needs.
