First of all, it arrived quick and packaged well. The one reviewer that said they have a rubber mount installed wrong.. one of my rubber mounts were misaligned as well. I would say it happend when someone put in the box and not at assembly. The mounts slide into the package and I assume one was just moved out a place a bit. They are soft and I just pushed it back in place without even backing out the screw or anything. The other issue I had was the wiring for the 3 prong connector. Now this is a generic"ish" draft inducer and I'm putting in a 15 y.o. carrier furnace so I can't honestly say it was wrong but it wasn't right for my need. I say just check the wire colors with the male connector to your female connector. For me, black should line up with black and so on. Mine were reversed. Since this connector is "keyed" you can only slide it into the female side one way, I just did a quick fix to make it work. Basically I filed the square ends off a little and just turned it upside down and pushed it in. All the colors lined up. Turned the sucker on and watched the rotation of the fan. It was going the right way and that guy was so much quieter than the old one. Done. Can't say how long it will last, but it looks like good a quality replacement. For now I would recommend it. So there you have it, my $.02

Item as described fit as it should have. Had to switch the rubber boots but was not a big deal. Just hope motor holds out. But for now my furnace is back to being quiet. This will not be for everyone I’m sure but I had to undo my gas line so I could move the burner regulator to get to bottom bolt to remove and install unit. May be challenging for a non handy person.

I ordered and installed this item. Fairly easy to install. Within first week it was vibrating and noisy. Then it went out on a weekend of course so I had to call a HVAC company of course to get heat! Cost me huge money on the weekend after hours. Then, I attempted to return item and never heard back from the company. Inferior product! I just want my money back!

Living in Wisconsin , I woke up to a 50 degree house last week. I had noticed random humming noises on my furnace lately , but ignored them. When my furnace quit , the code was a 31 ..I could hear my old inducer motor trying to run , but No Go. I ordered this replacement on Friday Morning . I set up 6 heaters in my house . My g to my surprise , the box showed up Monday afternoon. I INSTALLED this assembly after work last night. Get a tiny tube of red rtv silicone , scrape the old rtv off , apply a thin layer on the furnace to ensure a good airtight seal when you replace the unit. The extensions for the mounting screws are in fact very tight. I tapped them in with a little hammer and they went in all the way. The motor and fan are almost silent and I am pleased with the results . Note : make sure you install the motor mounts , and the proper hoses to the unit. It's pretty simple. My first attempt , I accidentally installed it upside down , and the holes did not line up, once I removed the unit ,Changed the capped end cover , and put it back in , everything lined up perfect and it fired up just like a new furnace. I will update if things break ,but if I get 5 to 10 years out of this blower , I will be happy. Mine does not leak like others have mentioned , but that would be an easy fix with rtv if it did . All in all ,I would buy again , and thanks for shipping it out so fast !Edit : I decided to go 4 star because the spacers from.the old board are very tight to fit in. I backed up the corner on a table and used a small hammer to to them in. I only hope that if I ever have to replace them , that they come out without breaking.Maybe I should have sanded them like others said they did. Otherwise, the unit works as good as the original. Also , only 1 motor mounts was in place at shipping, I unscrewed the 2 mounts and put the motor in them. I believe this was shipped this way intentionally to prevent damage during shipping.UPDATE : I read the post about ordering from NAHVAC and you would get a Carrier branded or Payne branded board . That was not the case , I am still happy with the item , but it is in fact an NBK. It is grey in color and not bla k as depicted in the picture. The original OEM is black. For the money saved , I would still! Order this item , unless it breaks prematurely.. If it breaks or fails , I will Update my review. Its been in 2 weeks and No leaks , it just purrs away ...

Great replacement part for my furnace. Reasonably priced and easy to install.

Furnace would make a squealing sound when it was turning on did some research and found it was the inducer motor. Bought this because it matched what I have and the cost of a HVAC person to come out was nuts. This came in a few day's and only took about a half hour to exchange. Now the furnace is quiet and running well. Would purchase again. Good Luck

I ordered a new inducer, it came promptly. I found a professional video on YouTube that I watched. I was able to install it with very few issues (lining up the long screws again was the biggest problem. My furnace is now running quietly again. It is interesting that I just paid for the annual inspection of the furnace and A/C. I pointed out to the maintenance guy the noise in the furnace. He told me what he thought was doing it. After he left I checked it out and determined it was not what he thought but was something amiss in the inducer. I then ordered the new Draft Inducer, replaced the old one and the furnace runs as good as new again.

This was the second one purchased in a year as they do not offer any types of warranties. Both broke after a few months of use. Finally I had to buy a different brand one our heating and cooling company recommended and fingers crossed so far no issues. So yourself a favor and spend a few more $$ on a better brand. Instead of having this one fail and having to not only buy an expensive part AGAIN but have to pay an a heating and cooling tech to install it AGAIN
