We were hired to renovate a 20 year old double door entry unit. In addition to paint and new weatherstripping, we I stalled this adjustable threshold unit since the old wooden piece was rotting and looked terrible. This was the perfect fit and it looks good, too. Customer was pleased.

Worked well for 32 inch door transition piece. I am a complete monkey when it comes to home repairs and I nearly returned this item until I figured out the best course of action. I need to replace two transitions, but I started with the one in the walkout basement which I had temporarily replaced with foam (see monkey above). No one goes down there except me mostly (walkout basement door). I trimmed 2 inches off each side based on helpful reviews. Then, I had to drill four holes in the threshold to seat the sill cap. I could not figure out how to remove the screws in the new sill cap (see monkey above again). So, I eyeballed it and drilled the holes. Took a few attempts, but eventually all the screws fit and it looks great now! So, now that I monkeyed in the basement, I can do the same repair upstairs with the deck transition that much higher visibility (it is rotting out, so needs to be replaced). So, after two years of leaving a cheap foam sill cap (really just a $1 black pipe insulation that hammered in with roofing nails!) to replace a rotted one, I finally have a quality composite natural wood sill cap that looks great and seals great. If even a monkey like me can do it, so can you! I guarantee it!

I was pleasantly surprised that the screws matched up exactly to my mastercraft door. I was unable to find one for my 32 inch door but was able to trim the ends to fit and it fastened down perfectly!!

I've been looking for a replacement for a rotted sill cap for a long time, without any luck. This was exactly what I needed. The composite material will be great in this often damp location. There was a hard surface under the old cap that I thought I'd need to remove, but I marked the location of the height screws (after cutting the sill to the length I needed) in that material and drilled holes at each spot. Perfect fit and it looks great.

Quality is good but it was annoying that it was 37.5" instead of the advertised 36". The extra length was off-centered so I had to use a rotary saw to cut off unequal pieces from both ends for it to fit in my 36" door frame.

Trimmed to size. Crept up on either side of the trim to match my existing screw holes. Replaced my rotten board. Finally a waterproof threshold with no gap under the door.

The part I ordered is half of a 2-part entry threshold. The 1st piece I left in the doorway as it was undamaged. I removed and ultimately replaced this damaged 2nd piece. Tge doorway was slightly narrower than the replacement, but by aligning the predrilled holes, I was able to mark the right places to trim it on both ends. It then snapped into place an installed perfectly!
