These were purchased for outdoor Christmas lights. The oroduct states you Val use indoor or outdoor. After hanging them which required a ladder to do so the lights are not working with the remote. I contacted Amazon and they will not do anything and told me to contact the seller which is in china, with an international number. I tried other means to contact to no avail. Don’t trust Amazon they will not stand behind the products that they sell on their web site! Disappointed in the Amazon customer service department!

These are absolutely beautiful. The rope itself is clear and the light is purple unlike some other ones you see where the rope is purple and the light is white and then over the years if the rope fades the color goes away but that won't happen with this because the light itself is purple. Remote is super handy, I love going through the options but to be honest I'm just going to keep them solid, I'm not going to use any of the blinking settings. I know it said it came with hooks but I didn't realize it came with everything it came with little zip ties if you want to do that or if you want to firmly mount them it comes with little brackets you can screw into the wall and then clip the rope light into it so it's secure and that is awesome I think lol.
