We remodeled our bathroom but the new tile was taller than our oak floors. This was the perfect solution, it looks great. The threshold side closer to the door jam was slightly higher than the other and easily fixed with a small insert of cork.

We recently did new hardwood flooring in our home. The issue we had was a trying to find a reducer for 3/4 hardwood. The big box stores didn’t have any available that we liked. My wife found this here on Amazon and we went with it. It is a little pricey but it’s definitely worth it. We bought the 3ft version and just cut it to length. The stain didn’t really matter as it’s just going to be under a door that goes to our basement. Adhesive caulk with nails to hold it down. We are very satisfied with this item! Highly recommended!

It's expensive and if you need it in an area that sees any moisture or water you gotta finish it with poly or some sort of waterproofing. And you have to use water based poly or it'll change to a golden oak color. With all that said, it's otherwise perfect for my kitchen to living room transition. It was a decent height difference and a typically reducer just wouldn't do. This is solid, looks good, and very practical.

I bought this overlap I use a rollator for mobility and getting out of my front door because the door sill is about 1 inch higher than my floor with a quarter round transition piece. My rollator did not like this and I would have to lift it over the threshold. Most people step over this sill without a second thought but for someone who needs a rollator or walker lifting it off the ground can throw your balance off. This piece was great for providing an incline for the rollator. It comes unfinished. I stained it with a light oak stain and finished it with three coats of urethane. It color matches my existing floor perfectly. I cut and removed the quarter round. I glued and pin nailed this overlap in place. So much easier to get my rollator out the door. Interestingly enough I went to a couple of big box stores and floor installers before Amazon and the best I could get was that a carpenter could custom make an overlap for me. I’m very satisfied with this piece.

Had to transition kitchen floor to rest of the floor in my house which is 3/4â€. This filled the job perfectly and was easy to stain!

I installed some LVP and the transitions for most of those are very lacking so I measured what I needed and this met my needs.I bought a stain and poly in one that looked like it would be the same color as my flooring, but it did not come out the same color. I ended up separating the backing from a piece of the LVP and gluing that to this (not pictured) so the end result matches the LVP.I agree that this is pricey, but I am bad at using a saw so I wanted something that was already good to go.
