So my daughter plays softball, and I often find myself on the business end of 50 mile an hour changeups, sliders and fast balls. during practice and warmups. The padded seat is nice and comfortable. Putting one of these lids on a 5 gallon standard plastic bucket like you find at Home Depot or Loews makes a strong and lightweight seat that can easily hold at least 225 pounds. I gave two to a handyman friend of mine saw it and he loved them. He had a nice comfortable chair to sit on wherever he needed one and whenever he needed it...indoors or outside.. The lid also snaps on securely and you have a covered bucket for holding things like fruit that you picked off of a tree..You will use them. Great product!

Bought to replace a lid on a bucket of baseballs that had broken. It did not fit so had to play musical lids until I found a bucket it would easily fit on and easily come off of. It worked out in the end, but I would not say this is a true universal fit.

Believe it or not, we originally bought these as a clever way to create more seating on our boat, when we had big parties. Now, we find that we also use them in the garage, on the patio . . . . wherever we need a portable seat! They are comfy, secure, and stable.

Comfortable I used the product after it sat in the rain for most of the morning- The seat absorbed no water. The only downside is that getting into the bucket may cause a bit of a racket which could be bad if you're hunting.

I put this on top of my 5 gallon bucket I use for fishing. It's the perfect seat and comfortable
