"WATCH OUT". And I mean WATCH OUT ! !!!! I ordered this 3 TIMES. First one arrived and the glass was CRACKED ???? Why glass and not the best quality bullet proof Loss I glass.Then Amazon sent another, all installed and as I aS hanging over the motor adjusting the carburator, the F'N Glass EXPLODES and a Geiser of HOT RADIATOR JUICE SPUING all over me and the Glass chards cut my left arm and my face and the Rad-Juice was not pleasant..Then I ordered another #3 and this one leaked like a SIVE and as I took it out and checked, the center glass tube was NEVER finished on one end and all chipped...Needless to say I WILL NOT I REPEAT NOT BUY another, WHAT CRAP LACK OF QUALITY....

It is really cool to see the coolant flow through these things. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the hose clamps are made terribly. I say drop the price and stop shipping it with faulty hose Clamps. They are made of stainless steel, I think. the clamp mechanism is so small. I can't get a socket on it. The preferred way to tighten these things.Now, that's out of the way. If you have a lot of microbe bubbles in your coolant that's passing through the filter. You need more coolant and you have air in the system. These are. Seized right to remove all the larger particles that can be floating around in your coolant system. Anything smaller that can fit through that great. Isn't gonna harm your heater core or Radiator. I've been running this filter for about a week. Went high into the RPMs just to test it and it hasn't leaked.

The glass wasn't smooth on the ends and cracked when tightened. Leaks. Works well after adding 90 min gasket.

I put it on, it leaked and the truck wasn't even close to hot...literally been sitting for 2 days and at startup, started dripping between the glass and outlet housing. Save your money, do not purchase.

Installed this in my truck along with my rebuilt engine and it began leaking while filling the cooling system. Removed it and took apart thinking I could get it to seal. I could not. No matter what I did it leaked. Even just blowing air with my mouth and covering the other side it leaked between the glass and o-ring. If you absolutely must have a coolant filter then buy a spin on filter system. This was not worth the money and if yours happens to not leak initially it will not last long and leave you stranded on the side of the road.
