I purchased this to replace a tilt sensor that went out for a GoControl GD00Z-8-GC. It installed properly and is working quite well with SmartThings (Hub version 2). If you pair the sensor and the door still does not function correctly, unplug the main unit for one minute. That was the final action that I needed to get it working. When pairing, remember to put the back on the tilt sensor with the tab pressing on the button inside of the sensor. Pairing instructions are included with your GoControl documentation. It is a little finicky, but it will pair.

Mounted switch, pressed synch button go control, open door manually, closed door manually. Sensor synched with a beep and door was ready for remote operation.

Bought in August 2022. Was a pain to get added to the system....had to call alarm company....cannot add it yourself. No instructions whatsoever. Product failed on February 2023 with malfunction. Called 2GIG for warranty and was told they do not honor warranty for self install. Only if installed through alarm companies. Waste of money and time. Stay away!!

I left my dang tilt sensor on a rental house door so I needed a replacement. This is the replacement. GoControl Z-Wave garage door controller for local control on Home Assistant. My model is the older NGD00Z-4 but this paired right up following the directions. Works perfect.

Realized after I moved into a new house that I'd forgotten to grab the tilt sensor for my GoControl/Linear GD00Z-4 Z-Wave Garage Door Opener before I turned over the keys at the old place. Ordered and installed this, worked perfectly. To install/pair, remove the battery guard to activate the device. Put the backplate on, lining it up correctly so the little button inside gets pressed. On your GoControl/Linear GD00Z-4 Z-Wave Garage Door Opener press and hold the pair button for 8 seconds until it beeps once. Tilt in your hand the tilt sensor until you hear another beep. Now install the tilt sensor on your garage door, again being careful to line up the tab with the little button inside the sensor.

Works really well. Only have 4 stars because pairing with my panel was tricky and not explained by the manufacturer or documentation.

Lost a tilt sensor for a Linear garage door controller. Works perfectly as a replacement. Hold the sensor close the controller, press and hold the button on the controller until it beeps once and then tilt the sensor to the horizontal position while pressing the little black button on the sensor. This will pair the two and it'll work.

For those wondering, I took a gamble and bought this to replace my GoControl Garage Door Opener tilt sensor. It connected right up and been working for a week now.

Sinked up and worked well. Box says battery included but both sensors were missing the battery.
