I think this product contains a lot of good things in one small package. I haven't had time to test a patch out over the long term, but I have no reason to believe it will be failing any time soon. The tire remover tools are sturdy and get the job done easily. It is overall a good price for what you are getting. The reason I give 4 stars is because I'm not sure if it is really worth getting the patch kit vs just getting a new tube. I could see this being handy if you really needed to patch a tube while on vacation or on any trip where you don't have a new tube readily available like maybe in the middle of a mountain biking session, but new tubes aren't usually that expensive so I feel like it would be better to just get a brand new tire tube rather than using a patch. With that being said, if that's what people are using it for, I suppose you wouldn't need the patch to last very long anyway and so it does its job very well. I am also not a person who spends massive amounts of time biking, so maybe other people who bike more than me would find more use with the patch kit. Regardless, I do like the quality of the product and will get good use out of the tire removers if nothing else.

I was needing an inner tube patch kit to carry with me on my bike rides and came across this kit. It has everything you could need to patch your inner tubes either on the road, trail or at home.I received it and looked it over and it is really comprehensive and has a lot of things many patch kits don't have.Besides having a vast amount of assorted patches, the tire levers, 2 nice size tubes of vulcanizing fluid (glue), a valve stem core tool and a cool patch roller with tube scuffer (see image). Most kits come with those little pieces of aluminum to scuff your tubes before patching and they don't always work the best. This added tool is a nice touch.I tested the kit out on a tube that needed a patch and it worked great. I checked the tube and patch again in the morning and there was no air leak. These types of patches that use vulcanizing fluid instead of the press and stick patches are WAY better and are permanent if done properly.Give all that is included in this kit and the nice sturdy case that it comes in makes it a great deal and it can add piece of mind on your long bike rides.

Just got a bike a few days ago and wanted to make sure I was prepared for any eventuality. Ordered this repair kit to have on hand, and wouldn't you know I needed it the very next day, when I went out to ride and found the back tire flat. (Sad trombone sound.)Inside were two large tubes of glue, an impressively comprehensive set of patches in two sizes, four mysterious black lever-shaped plastic thingies, a tiny circular metal tool with arms, and a flat metal stick with a rolling wheel at one end and a grid of burrs at the other.The directions were straightforward enough and mentioned the "rolling tool", which was easy to figure out, but the other tools in the package were not explained. These turned out to be a valve stem remover and the plastic thingies, which I deduced were designed to either remove the tire, or possibly ease it into the frame, or...well, see, I don't actually know what those are for.It turned out the leak was so tiny we couldn't find it even after submersion in soapy water, so the final solution was a liquid tire sealant, which seems to have done the trick. Had I needed a patch, I'm pretty sure I could have successfully undertaken this process by following the directions, but I would have appreciated more info about what the other items in the kit are used for.

This is a good kit and it has everything you'll need. I prefer having three plastic levers (as opposed to two, or metal ones) so I appreciate that. Put the glue in a sealed ziplock bag once it's opened; it'll tend to dry out otherwise. This may be a lifetime supply of patches. The included rasp is a nice touch, as is the valve stem remover. Recommended.

The bottom line is that this kit allowed me to quickly and easily patch a hole in my bicycle tube.The scuffing tool was easier to use than either the small square scuffers supplied with other kits or a piece of sandpaper.The glue flowed and applied smoothly and the patch was reasonably easy to remove from the foil backing and apply, and then the clear covering over the patch was easy to remove.The pressing wheel on the other end of the scuffing tool helped increase my confidence that the patch had good adherence.The valve core tool and tire levers are nice extras.The one thing that I would have preferred was different was that the tubes of glue are much larger than I had anticipated. I would have preferred more, smaller tubes, as once the tubes are opened, they tend to dry out.Also, this kit is at the higher end of the price scale. It does provide a larger quantity of glue, and does provide the unique tool, so maybe that supports paying more for some buyers.

This came with a lot of patches and glue for the price. The patches seem like they’re good quality and this does seem like a pretty good deal. I like that it comes with some of the tools to be able to get the tire off the rim of the bike.
