I love these paper doilies. Here's what I did...tray, small piece of double sided tape, doilie, plastic wrap, food, plastic wrap. The tape kept the doilie in place. The 1st plastic wrap prevented the doilie from getting damp from any of the food (deli meat in particular), made it easy for clean-up (didn't need to wash the trays b/c no food came in contact w/them) & then the 2nd plastic wrap is obvious...keeps food fresh & was needed for transport.

So, these are called dollies? I never knew that. I just thought they were placemats. Whatever they're called, these are pretty good. They give you a whole lot of them and a variety of shapes and sizes. Each placemat is made of paper and it's kinda like the thickness of regular paper. There's quite a bit of detail in the ornamentation. It's a good way to dress up a dinner that you are hosting to give your dinner some flare and design. They also protect your tables from any minor spills and things and you can just throw them away after.
