I've had a really tough time finding an iPhone MagSafe compatible mount that will fit a modern Acura Integra! There isn't a smooth surface to be found and almost all are angular or curved.. This clip on unit works for me VERY well overall. The MagSafe connection is strong and reliable. The angles, while a bit limited on the actual swivel mount point (thus, 4 stars), it is highly adjustable and it just took me a little while to find the optimal mount. But now that I have it, it's great! It has NEVER fallen off and I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this unit!

WHAT I GOT:- The mount, in two pieces - the part that grabs your car, and the part that grabs your phone.- Instructions with link to the manufacturer web site.- Magnet kit for non-magnetic phones. I didn't need this and didn't try it. The one thing to know is that you should wait 24 hours after installing this part. The portion that grips the car consists of a curved larger piece on the side that holds the phone, such that you can have 2 or 3 points holding the car on that side. This side has a faux carbon fiber texture. On the other side is a spring-loaded clamp. This gives you some good flexibility depending on the shape of your car's interior. The clamp has a pull handle for your finger to get a good grip to open it. This handle has a 17mm round hole that you could use to help with cable routing - a USB-A connector can fit through it.I tried it out on a Nissan Leaf. I was able to find two good places to put this (see photos) - one on the dashboard cluster hanging sideways, one on the edge of the center console. The mount will grab onto any overhang up to 2 1/4 inches thick. The depth of the jaws depends on the thickness of the mounting zone. To give you some guidance I measured the grip on some blocks of wood:- Thickness 3/4in results in a grip depth of 3 1/2in on the phone side and 2in on the clamp side.- Thickness 1 1/2in results in a grip depth of 3in on the phone side and 1 3/8in on the clamp side.- Thickness 2 1/4in results in a grip depth of 2 1/2in on the phone side and 1in on the clamp side.Between the clamp and the phone mount there is an arm with pivoting joints at each end:- At the clamp end, there's a joint that is secured by a screw knob. It rotates 360Ëš around the clamp and allows 32 evenly spaced positions.- Next at the clamp end is a second joint that is secured by a spring-loaded button. This moves towards / away relative to the clamp. It has 11 usable positions spaced by 18Ëš. The button pushes through from one side - use one finger, pinching both sides doesn't work.- At the phone end is a 17mm plastic ball joint. This is hard to tighten properly by hand but locks down eventually.WHAT I LIKE MOST:- The grip spring is strong.- Installation is intuitive.- There's a good range of motion so that your phone can be positioned on top of the clamp or far from it.- The magnetic ring is strong: I don't expect my phone to go anywhere.- This should work well on any car with any kind of overhang on the dashboard. It might even work on the edge of a cup holder. You could also use it indoors on the edge of a shelf, desk etc.- Including a ring for non-magnetic phones/cases is a nice touch.WHAT I LIKE LESS:- The QR code links to the manufacturer web page for a power bank, not for this product.- I couldn't find this product (A117 or model 2E7155) on the manufacturer's web page.- The ball joint behind the phone is hard to tighten sufficiently by hand. With the magnet's strength, removing the phone might rotate the joint. In practice I just remove the phone by pulling on the side closest to the ball joint.

I have tried dozens of phone holders in the last 8 months (one of the benefits of being a vine member)and aside from the vacuum adhering style that squeak periodically to stay stuck to your dash, this is the worst design I've come across. Looks like it was specifically designed by an engineer for his/her car.If you can guess what car that was and if you happen to own one AWESOME. Otherwise don't bother.

So I really wanted to have this holder work! I liked the listed features, the Magsafe attachment, and the idea of mounting my cell phone just to the right of my dash/instrument panel … but not have to attach anything to the window or dashboard permanently. My older sedan does not have Carplay (nor Android audio), and I want a Magsafe style mounting setup. Magsafe is good..and cool, and i want it! I have an older mount that currently inserts into my CD/DVD slot (...and I know… a seriously dated feature in this day and age). But what can I say… I still like my older car.The design of the LISEN mount is mostly good. The plastic material, the adjustment knobs, and the pivot clamp are more or less standard, and are very functional! The phone position adjustments, together with the inherent flexibility of using a Magsafe phone/case make it easy to move the phone into a good spot. The phone can rotate into landscape mode very quickly, and the magnetic attachment between my iPhone 15 pro (with a Magsafe compliant case) was strong, but easily adjusted. I did not experience any phone detachment in the course of my driving tests. The rubber pads on both parts of the clamping mechanism are grippy! The smaller side of the clamp that contains the spring loaded section that holds the mount in place is however a little too small for my application. My car is a late model Japanese luxury sport sedan that has apparently too much soft touch material for this mount. When I clamped it to the right side of my dashboard cover where I wanted it, once moving… slowly worked its way loose until it leaned down and became supported by the right hand control stalk of the steering column. It was still attached, but not securely…and it became neither a useful location to view the phone, nor a safe one. Keep in mind that even the underside of my instrument/dash cover is wrapped in a soft touch faux leather…so if you have a more common harder plastic or rubberized surface for the mount to grip onto, your experience may very well be different! The product’s pictures show the mount placed at the top/apex of the instrument panel cover. This position might have worked, but I would find it highly distracting, and is a nonstarter for me. And there are no other obvious mounting points that would have worked in my car. So I will summarize it as a good product, but wrong application for my car. I will give it 4 stars, as it is well built and the Magsafe attachment rocks. For the record, LISEN makes another mount that inserts into the cd slot of a car (as did my older one). It has the upgraded Magsafe phone mount, which is my goal here. Therefore I purchased the CD slot model to compare to this clamping one. The LISEN CD mount option works better than my older similar mount setup did, but mainly due to the Magsafe feature. This type of mounting point still has the phone a little lower than I would prefer. However, the LISEN CD mount does have some height and lift adjustments that my previous one did not. Since Magsafe is good, out with the old, and in with the new LISEN mount. Not perfect, but good enough. The LISEN brand gets the nod from me so far, and I will look them up next time I need a phone mount. If the CD mounting option sounds interesting to you, you can look up “LISEN for MagSafe CD Phone Holder for Car Mount†here on Amazon, and I suspect you will find it.
