6 Timing Modes
- Not In Dusk to Dawn Mode: It's a 24-hour-cycle timer, you can set 2H ON/22H OFF, 4H ON/20H OFF, 6H ON/18H OFF, 8H ON/16H OFF, 10H ON/14H OFF, 12H ON/12H OFF.
- In Dusk to Dawn Mode: It's a count-down timer. The LED string lights would be controlled ON when at dusk and OFF when the timer trigger.
10 Brightness& Memory
The brightness can be set as 100%, 85%, 75%, 60%, 50%, 35%, 25%, 15%,10% or 5% to fit your different occasions. The brightness would be memoried the last time setting.

Want your (indoor) lights to turn on at dusk automatically? Want them to stay on for a specific number of hours and then turn off on their own? Want to set the dimmer anywhere from feint to bright ? And want a convenient remote control for all this too? Then this product is for You! I didn't see another product offer all these things, let alone at this price. Don't pass on this New product due to low review count. I use it with an indoor/outdoor string of lights that I use indoors. They were too bright before, but now I don't have to lift a finger to have perfect ambient lighting all the time. This socket accepts 2 prong, so if your light plug in is 3 prong, you can get a 3-2 Prong Adapters Grounding Adapter for $3+. This device also avoids connecting wirelessly to your cell phone which may (or may not) keep it more secure from being hacked. This product makes your home look the same whether your there or not, and sets up just the right amount of light. I love it.

First, let me say that this dimmer is fully functional and there is nothing wrong with the timer, the dawn to dusk feature, nor the dimmer. But, for my application, I need to mount this dimmer somewhere where it will be exposed to the ambient light for the dimmer to work. As it dangled from the string lights, it turns in the wind with the light sensor being turned against the wall. There is no convenient way to permanently mount the device securely to wall. Double sided tape seems to be the only option, but over time, all double tape gets broken down outside by the elements.So, I'm not entirely happy with this product for my application -- but that isn't necessarily a problem for all users.The dimmer also comes with a remote control -- I think I see almost all string lights with this exact same remote. There must be millions of them being made. It works fine at the ranges that I used it at -- across a patio testing, about 15 feet I guess.Overall 4 stars for my application.

Great product!! Just make sure you match your total wattage and do not overload. Mine still working at 3/4 max amp load for 3 months now. Leave them on all night... They do what they say in description... Photo cell sensor could be more sensitive, has to be fairly light out to shut off, but I'm happy overall... Would buy again.

I purchased this because the lights that came on my prelite tree were extremely bright. Unfortunately, this does not work with it. It just causes it to flash at the same brightness. So I will be submitting for a return.

The product is a big disappointment. It stopped working after a few weeks. The timer is off and not responsive, and nothing is working properly.
