Did an experiment tighten down to 10 ft lbs using a bolt, wave washer, nut and torque wrench. Held bolt in vice. The loosen and still see wave. Tried one out of the 8mm wave kit I also bought at same time on amazon and came out flat as a pancake, didn't maintain the wave pattern. Returned the kit and just use hillman for all my wave washers. Application was repacing clutch, and washer was needed inside the bell housing on a transmission holding front oil seal and throw out bearing sleeve to tranny. Something u don't want to vibrate loose and tear apart again. These are very excellent washers. Application 1991 bmw 5-speed.

I’d lost hope of ever finding a replacement for all the rotary cutter washers I’ve lost when replacing the blades. Of course all those pricey cutters were worthless without the washer. These are a good replacement for those washers.
