- Use for cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, trailers, scooter, quad bike, trike, caravan, marine, jet ski and other wire connections.
NOTE:
- It is important to identify the insulation tabs, conductor tabs and wings on the terminals.
These wings work for locking the connectors. ***DON’T CRIMP WINGS***
Crimp conductor tabs to the stripped wires. Crimp insulation tabs to the insulated wires.
Don't deform the terminals (otherwise, the terminals and connectors will not be locked).
- PULL TEST is very important.
Pull test to make sure that the terminals are crimpped well; If the terminals do not tight into the place, the wires will easily be pulled out from the connectors.
If you have troubles to crimp the terminals. The terminal crimping tool (Weather Pack Crimper) could help you tight the terminals on the wires very well.
- There is only one direction to insert terminals. (The way likes picture shows.)
The terminals lock the connector with a snap.
Once you insert terminals, they will not be pulled out again. If you put them to wrong direction, they will be pulled out easily.
- Don't put the red clip before you insert female terminals to the male connector.
- Don’t need to put the red clip into the female connector (it’s already in).
If you can't insert the terminals into the connectors easily.
If the terminals and connectors can't lock.
- The terminal is deformed and not straight. (if yes, fail to insert the connectors.)
- The wings of terminals are not crimpped. (if yes, lock failed.)
- The direction of terminals to connectors are wrong. (Can't lock)
- The terminals are failed to into the end of the connectors. (Can't lock)

Absolutely a great product with an assortment that comes at a value. I purchased so that I can plug and unplug a snow plow controller that is normally hardwired between the interior cab through the firewall to the power supply and snow plow. Easy to use, anyone can wire this up with basic tools. This plug set up allows me to disconnect the joystick controller and pack it away when not in use.

Not as good quality as oem. Metal thin enough to bend closed with thumb nail and small seals for wires look thinner than originals. But, these work. You need a special crimper for these, a regular all-purpose crimper won't be fun to use. Amazon recommended the 1424B Iwiss (a play on the brand name Wiss) which works, not saying it is the best.

I have used this set a few times. Great for potentially wet applications. I used these to wire up my tail lights on my project car. Easy to use, secure crimping, and solid snap lock.

It works as intended, but some of the ports simply don’t fit the pins in. You’ll end up wasting almost half of the bigger pieces. The pins don’t stay every time, so you’ll need to snap them into place with small needle nose pliers.

Reviews note the contacts you put in and crimp are a bit delicate. They are, that's true. Still, I think you can make a usable pigtail socket of these (I did). Re the discussion in these reviews about the crimping tool you use... You don't really need a tool, you can use a needle nose pliers and get it right. Overall, handy kit that's very cheap. If you care a lot about such things in your build you may want to spend more for a little better robustness.

Highly recommended if you're doing your own connection and want a fast way to connect and disconnect. Easy to follow instructions. I will buy again, once I finish this box

The connectors are not waterproof but water resistant. The rubber/vinyl plugs do not prevent water from penetrating the connectors. The plastic housing can not be installed when temperatures are around 0C as the plastic becomes brittle and will/does break. Could not find any info on the amperage rating for the connectors so upgraded lights to LEDSs on tractor to reduce amperage . Recommend using electrolytic grease on connectors to minimize potential for corrosion if connectors are exposed to moisture
