First off, the lens sent to me was BLACK, not white as shown in the description above, however, I'm glad it's black! It looks better. Anyway, this is a GREAT price on this lens. It feels very strong, sturdy and increases the area shown on my Canon HFS200 camera by a LOT! Nice cheap little add-on for your cam! Recommended.

if you are looking for a cheap wide angle it's not that bad for the money. you won't be able to see the edges when you are recording but on playback you can see the edges from the lens. if you zoom in a tad you will still be able to see more than stock lens and you won't be able to see the edges

This wide angle macro conversion lens was a bargain to buy and it surprised me with some very good photos with it on my Lumix GF6. The photos taken with the wide angle configuration are very good, but my camera needs to be zoomed a little bit in order to eliminate the black Vignetting at the edge The wide angle capacity of the lens presents a challenge as getting a focus is a bit tricky.The fit and finish is very good. This is a quality accessory and looks like a much more expensive lens.It is really two lenses in one because the wide angle part comes off in order to use the closeup section. That is a good thing, but I took off a star because when the wide angle section is removed so the macro lens can be used the wide angle lens is left without a cap.I bought a Rear Lens + Body Cap Cover with a Screw Mount for Universal 39mm Leica M39 and that gave me what I wanted . This is a 39mm cap and it works perfectly on the rear of the conversion lens when it is separated from the other portion.this lens is certainly worth a try.

It contains both a macro and fish eye lens and seems to work great with my canon hf20. Not sure you can really screw up something like this. Screws directly onto the lens of the cam, seems pretty sturdy. I do notice a tiny bit of black on the upper corners but didn't count off for that because that's more a side-effect of using a fish-eye lens.

What can you say. It's dirt cheap and adds a wider field of view to my handheld camcorder with minimal sacrifice of pic quality. Hard to find any complaint at this price. instructions might be nice. Not needed since it just screws on, but the fact that i is in 2 pieces (not counting caps), but you do kind of wonder if there are some helpful tips. Also would be nice to know more about the limits of the macro ability other than trial and error.

is not very clear or sharp but the cheap price actually explains that. only a little disappointed.
