I use my LMS mini lathe near daily for tons of projects and fabrications, and am used to the need for more time due to taking smaller cuts of materials due to lacking of horsepower and stability of the main chassis, compared to my old South Bend 10" lathe. This style tool bit allows me to remove .020"-.025" per pass now on most materials, without any chatter or hesitation in cutting, compared to the standard tool steel or insert type tool standard shapes. For radius cutting, it is very nice, quick and easy.

Wish the cutter was a little bit bigger, can’t get very much clearance for cutting small grooves, the tooling bottoms

With this little cutter I can take an 1/8 inch deep cut in aluminum. steel I can go around a 100 thousandths.Make for shorter time turning. I'm very impressed!!!!
