Purchased the black to add a drawstring in sweatpants. It went through the sweats easily, was easily able to sew the ends to prevent fraying and ties and unties easily.

I often buy sweatshirts at thrift stores to resell, I don't know why people would take out the drawstring, but I've had to replace 4 or 5. I got tired of running to JoAnn's fabrics and wait for a sale coupon, AND take the chance that they would have what I needed.I bought this product and it works great. I use my That Purple Thang sewing tool to get the drawstring though the hoodie without problem. I just sew the ends folded over so that they don't run, it looks brand new, and I can usually resell my sweatshirts for $10 more just having the drawstring.I'm planning on buying grey and natural colors now that I know this product was what I needed.

The seller should inform the purchasers in the description that the drawstring shrinks about 3-5 inches after washed and dried. The ends will fray overtime and I doubt the material could hold a stitch if the were to be hemmed at the ends of each cut. Overall, the item works well if you use this information I’ve provided. 1. They shrink 2. They fray

My husband likes to wear pants and shorts with draw strings vs belts. He wears the string out well before the garment. They are easy to replace with this and I think this material lasts longer than the original.

I've purchased these twice & will do so again as needed for future projects. I use in waistband of pants, very comfortable. Easy to measure and sew. Exactly as described.

This product works great when you need to replace your drawstring on a pair of scrub pants! I had three pair I quit using because the draw string broke on them. This product not only is a good replacement but it is easy to untie unlike other draw strings! I would definitely recommend this product and I will use them again for sure!
