A great refrigerator parts for your failed heater element in Domatic refrigerator. Make your fridge works again! If your fridge won't works on 110v AC, test for heating element. If you have voltage at one wire but not the second, most likely the element is burned out creating a break in the voltage path, it is time to replace the new heating element.

I was having issues with an old refrigerator in an old RV. It worked fine on gas but not at all on electric. After replacing pretty much anything else that can be replaced trying to fix it, THIS was the answer. Easy to replace after watching some youtube videos. Thank you for saving me lots of money and effort on a new fridge!!

I have a DM2652rbx in my camper. This probe replaced the factory probe and was fairly simple to install. The fridge began working almost immediately and is now operating as desired. ☆☆☆☆☆Update☆☆☆☆☆☆Less then 2 months of operation the heating element has gone bad. I emailed the seller we were able warranty the item and a replacement was sent.

RV repairman is $400 plus to replace a heating element, but with utube decided to troubleshoot this myself, found this to be the problem. Had to pull the fridge to put it because I have a 2011 but did it by myself, and afterwards, it works and saved me $400. This replaced the original Dometic DM2652.

I have bought 4 of these so far. (I am the fix it person for friends). I have not had a problem but with one that went out in about 60 days, (they were living in the RV running it 7/24). However when I wrote about it the next delivery day I had a new one.Now here is something for all the Atwood ref owners. You can buy this unit, go to the hardware store and get 6" of 1/2" (1/2 OD 3/8 ID) copper and slide it over this unit just to the tip. Squeeze the copper down near the top (bend end of the element) as to keep it in place. It is 1/5 the price of a Atwood element, and the one I did over 2 years ago is still working. The Atwood element is 300W and .6" round
