How to set user information? (User number/Gender/Age)
- Step 1: Press the "ON/UNIT" button to turn on the device, press the "ON/UNIT" button again to change the numerical unit, lb or kg.
- Step 2: Press the "UP/USER SET" button to start setting the user information.
- Step 3: Press the "UP/USER SET" and "DOWN/RECALL" buttons to set the user number, 1~19 users.
- Step 4: After setting the user number, press the "ON/UNIT" button and press the "UP/USER SET" or "DOWN/RECALL" buttons to set the user's gender, male or female.
- Step 5: After setting the user's gender, press the "ON/UNIT" button and press the "UP/USER SET" or "DOWN/RECALL" buttons to set the user's age, 10~99 years old.
- Step 6: After setting the user's age, press the "START" button to start the test.
- Step 7: After the test, the screen will display the value of the test grip strength, and will be compared with the value of the last test, showing that the grip strength value is up or down.
- If you want to save the data of this test, you can press the "DOWN/RECALL" button within 5 seconds of the end of the test to save data. This data will be used as your latest test data.
Note:
1. After your test, the device will turn off after 5 seconds, you can also long press and hold the "ON/UNIT" button for 3 seconds to turn off the device.
2. You can press the "ON/UNIT" button to turn on the device and press the "DOWN/RECALL" button to view the information of the last test.
3. When charging, 3 "0"s flash sequentially; when charging is complete, 3 "0"s flash simultaneously; low battery indication "L0".

I work with 100s of fabricators. Recently a buddy brought in a grip tester and its been fun for us to pass the time seeing who can grip the highest. Theres a few people who bought these type of grip testers, even a certified expensive doctors use model.I can grip consistently 160-170lbs on all those meters. This meter here is innacurate and reads 50lbs less than what I consistenly pull. Ontop of that the grip length adjuster knob is seized and wont spin, and the ergonomics of this unit is horrible. The curved handle is awkward and makes your grip uneven.Not sure about most people but besides the thumb I have 4 fingers.... Well this grip device only has 3 grooves for fingers and the edges are so sharp you will hurt your hand long before getting a good reading.Poor design

I've been using this to track my recovery for rock climbing following a shoulder surgery. My max grip strength dropped about 20 pounds directly following the surgery and I've been able to build my strength back up a bit, but recovery is still ongoing. I mostly got this particular model because it charges using USB C. I won't buy anything that doesn't have it.

Sehr gut, bloß Genauigkeit kann man bisschen dran Arbeiten. Der misst nur das Gewicht wann zuletzt losgelassen wurde, nicht das höchste. Oder ich hab nicht die nötige Erfahrung dafür.

I bought this new hand dynamometer as the maximum strength is 180kg, and my previous one was maxed out. But I see a ~10kg difference when comparing peak force on both. I'm unsure why, I tried different settings but it seems to always be the case.I found the shape quite unpractical compared to my previous one, here the handle is an arc, which feels unnatural and unevenly distributes forces in the palm of the hand, leaving a strained skin in the middle. Also the wave pattern doesn't allow you to place your fingers properly in the center.I don't recommend it.
