This toolset is designed specifically for hot sleeve plugins that insert 3D printed parts, with a shorter and faster tip. Each tip is perfectly matched with the corresponding copper nut insert, making it easy to install, and more importantly, you can obtain a smooth and clean insert.

These are perfectly serviceable heat-set inserts. My kit shipped with the installation tool that fits Hakko-style soldering irons. The installation tools are not extremely well-made with a decent amount of play within the insert.The organizer kit is decent, it has fixed dividers which is a big plus in my book.

Works as desired, insert tip fits my generic $10 soldering iron. Careful not to heat the iron beyond the melt point of the material you’re setting into (beginner mistake).

It does not come with the heating iron as described in the pictures.Looks like it could be a good kit, but I bought it because it says it comes with the heating iron and it does not.

The heat inserts are excellent with a wide array of sizes to choose from, tested a random assortment on known screws, bolts, and 3D printer parts, all appear to check out. Sadly thou the inserts are where it falls a little flat, the smaller ones are all about 0.5mm too large and have a fair amount of wiggle room which adds a bit to the difficulty rating getting them to insert straight. For some reason the largest one is more than 0.5mm too small for the largest size included (M6), which begs the question, why include it at all?It's usable, has lots to choose from, though I'll have to look elsewhere for more reliable and correctly sized insert tips for more frequent use.
