I did a discharge test using a 3s 7200mah lipo and got almost 3 hours out of that pack from a fully charged 12.6v and stopped the test at 11v. No surprise as 5050 led strips are known to be thirsty.Recommend something like this to dial the voltage back to maybe 10.5v. Still plenty bright and they wont waste as much current thru heat. LED whip needs plenty of airflow to stay cool. It didnt get too hot to touch but it did get awfully warm.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F7YZSL6?th=1

Broke after 1 year. No give, first branch and it was broken. I'd buy one with a spring at base next time.

pros...very bright and eaasy to install. CONS, worked less than 2 hrs but return period was over. wouldn't spend the money now that I knowEDIT The seller offered me a full refund so my 1 star goes to 3.... but I do have issue with the short life
