My mom fractured her femur and subsequently had surgery. These adaptive tools came in very handy for my parents during her healing process. All aging parents should have these available to them it makes their life so much easier for each other and their children!!! They are high quality, sturdy, and very functional to keep you safe when someone is physically rehabbing or just getting older and needs a little more assistance. Great products!

This kit includes a grip strap that fastens around the frame of an open car window, a hand grip that slides into the door catch on the car pillar (door must be open to use), and a device that a person having difficulty standing would use, by holding with both hands on one side, while the person helping holds the other side with their two hands. (this gives the person standing up leverage and the person assisting can help by gently pulling). All three items are well built. I had to go back to the listing to see what the strap was used for and I already knew what the leverage device was for. The only instructions found was for the grip. It was a postcard size sheet that gives visual instructions, which were easy to follow. There's a "bonus" section on the hand grip instructions which says it has a hidden blade and being able to cut through a seat belt. It is well hidden indeed! I still haven't found it, although there is another feature that I did figure out. There's a rubber tip on the end of the metal "hook" of the device that when removed, exposes a chiseled point that could be used to break car windows in an emergency.Overall I trust the construction and durability of the items. However, I'm still looking for the hidden blade - if anyone finds it, please let me know where it is!

This is a great set for a person with mobility issues in getting in and out of the car. The strap is nice and it allows the person to be able to close the door once they get in as well as use it to get out of the car. Along with the car pillar tool, it makes it easier to get in and out of the car.
