This is a nice unit, but the manual leaves a lot to be desired. The pictograms are confusing and not very helpful, especially the procedure for calibrating, and I read that frequent calibration is necessary to get accurate readings.

I like this For testing the water in my tower gardens. The only problem with it is the display does not stay lit long enough to test both the pH and the particulates. We have to turn it off and turn it back on.

This product would ideally include the calibration solution for nutrient (EC) calibration. I absolutely love my indoor Aerospring hydroponics tower! The customer service from this company is great! However, I cannot give a great review on this meter that, upon watching the very good video how to calibrate, informs you need extra solution not provided in this purchase. That now I have to scramble to obtain when the tower is so ready for nutrients. Therefore I cannot give 5 stars.

I have used this meter for more than a month now and I have it to be reliable and accurate. I have checked it out with standard solutions and it still reads accurately. It can be a bit difficult to read at times, and it shuts itself off after a short time when you might want to keep reading, but then turn it back on.

Works quickly and instantly to get a ph or ec reading on hydroponic systems. Backlight is useful inside dark reservoirs
