The version 3-In 1-Out is designed for customers whom has several music audio sources equipments with XLR, and the version 1-In 3-Out is designed for clients whom has several audio players or amplifiers. OverviewThis switch box has Right and Left XLR connections with one channel IN and 3 channels OUT. It serves to take the signal from one input (any XLR connected item) and allows you to choose one of 3 end points with simply turning a dial to select the receiving channel.Positives- This product is made from strong metal and seems very durable.- The unit is heavy enough to stay in place on a flat surface when operating due to the large rubber footpads.- The switch knob is large and has good positive response when switching.- The XLR sockets are tight and stay connected well when using goon quality cables.- Selecting channels has minimal to no drop in signal and has no unwanted feedback noise when switching.Negatives- Really, the only negative so far with the short time having this in my studio is that it is a bit bulky in footprint and requires being on a flat surface and not rack mounted.Of course, time will tell if this item continues to be reliable and maintain its quality. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

I like the inputs have locking tabs so the cables are secured. I like the aluminum construction and small form factor and high quality connectors. Output side has slots for release tabs that are narrow. One of my XLR cables wouldn't fit and I had to use a 1' XLR of another brand to clear the slot.

I had never heard of this brand until I ordered this unit, and let me tell you this is serious hardware. It is a very simple, no frills device and it’s built like a Sherman tank. The entire unit is of metal construction and all of the input/outputs jacks seem to also be of a higher quality. If you don’t know what the function of this unit is, don’t look for any instructions or fancy paperwork. There ain’t any. This is a simple switch box that seems to be built to last; however, time will tell. I would feel comfortable taking this unit on the road.

Have got this for 2 pcs and a mixer. To switch between what I am using. Works great.
