3M Sanding Sponges are designed for sanding wood, paint, metal, plastic or drywall. This sponge features conventional 3M abrasives and is made with durable, flexible foam. The block shape makes it easy to hold and sands flat, contoured, or irregular surfaces. Sanding is an integral step in preparing a surface to receive a coating. For the best sanding results, sand with the grain of the surface and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to very fine, skipping no more than one grit between each sanding step.

Whether wet or dry sanding this works great, washes out quickly, shipped quickly, 3M product, so it is well made. Costs a little more, but these last a long time and really works well. I find that 3M products are generally better than competitors products, just my opinion.

Good general purpose grit. used it on drywall as well has sanding wood. Works great and fairly long lasting.

A lot easier to use than sandpaper wrapped around a wood block, but they get chewed up by rough surfaces. i would think a massed produced product would be less expensive.

Does a great job with the final sanding of spackle. The order page is a little confusing, it looks like you get 6 sponges but you don't, you get 1.

No cabe duda que 3M es calidad. Estas esponjas te resultarán ideales para muchas mas cosas que lijar madera. Las puedes usar para quitar algunas manchas de pisos, limpiar los azulejos del baño, o incluso ollas y sartenes. Funcionan muy bien húmedas o secas.. y duran muchÃsimo.

No habia probado este tipo de lijas y la verdad son muy practicas y durables. Duran mucho mas que las tradicionales de papel, y su soporte de esponja hace que el lijado sea mas facil y deja un mejor acabado.
