It is advertised as a double sided adhesive pad. The red side does not come off. I ruined four trying to take the red side off. Finally I just threw the rest of this horrible product out in the trash can. Don't waste your money.

Has good stick to it, but the covering to the adhesive is very difficult to peel off.

I can always find a use for a good double-sided, sticky tan. These are great! They hold up well and have been used on both smooth and rough surfaces. Happy so far!

I first got some of these heavy-duty VHB adhesive pads in a tiny kit for displaying figurines, and since then, I've been obsessed with using the stuff for everything. These pads are no exception. They're great for hanging photos or hooks on the wall, making sure things stay in place, like on a wall shelf, but honestly, the applications are endless, and I keep discovering new uses each time I use them.I purchase these double-sided adhesives probably once a month because I use them so much and continue to run out of them. The 3M brand is super high-quality, and these adhesives will hold your items extremely well for a long time.Supposedly, you can reuse these, but I have never done that before because I haven't needed to move any of the things I've used. I do believe that you can probably reuse these because I placed them initially in slightly the wrong spot, and they have remained super sticky, unlike tape, which you might need to cut a new piece of or something like that. You could still use that adhesive that might have gotten caught or slightly misplaced before setting it in its final position.The 1-inch size is perfect for tons of different applications, and I've been using them to secure items on floating shelves because I'm nervous that someone hits the other side of the wall and the item will fall and break.

I always like to have double-stick adhesive around the house because you never know when you just need a little something to fix a problem. These have come in very handy in a variety of projects around the house. hold fairly well for things that aren't super heavy..I wouldn't use them to hold up a hanging shelf, but for a lot of those random things that just need to get stuck back together- there are perfect!
