I love this,I have been using it for years, it is super versatile, usable in many different applications. Much better and stronger than conventional Velcro. It sticks well, the plastic teeth hold exceptionally well.I recently used it to install a DVD player and shelves in my new Camper, it holds the shelves for the DVD player and attaching the DVD player to the shelves. I also use it to hold the remotes on a second shelf and the temp gauge.

3M dual lock is a unique product - superior in many ways to velcro. The hold is much stronger and more consistent and the glue is very strong. I ordered the 8 ft piece and it is a great value for how much you get for what you pay. The roll is nice and wide and I ended up cutting pieces in half length wise which made the 8ft go even further.

Used this to replace standard Velcro for mounting a mini light to shotgun and it works great!

Sometimes I need something that can reliably attach and detach. Old-school Velcro wears out after a while and doesn't bind that great. This all plastic Velcro binds really well, but ones that have cheaper adhesive might detach. Also this all plastic Velcro not likely to wear out anytime soon. The adhesive though is wear this item shines. I'd imagine other plastic velcros might actually detach from the adhesive side. Which would be really annoying. Wipe whatever you attach this to with rubbing alcohol makes sure it's free of any dirt, hair, or oils. So far, adhesive has never detached on me. It's pricey, but the reliability is worth it. I've bought this twice. No question will buy again if needed.

Unlike Velcro you will have to buy 8 feet if you want 4 feet. It seems that all dual lock tape is that way. I ordered a couple and all came in the same way. I haven’t tested the grip of the back side yet. I will update when I do.Update: The grip of the adhesive is good. Unfortunately the grip of the removable side isn’t quite as strong. I have standard Velcro that holds better. I wish I could remove another star.

Dual lock is great for a multitude of uses. I use it on my pedalboard and it's amazing. A small little piece goes a long way in securing an effects pedal or whatever you need secured but removable. It's invaluable to me for my pedalboard. Highly recommended.

It's strong enough to keep my light curtains hanged on the wall or the ceiling, I'm surprised how strong they are. It can tears out the paint if you try to remove it. Before installing anything male sure to choose the good and the right place, cause when you remove it, it can probably remove the paint on tje wall. I prefer usong these than making hols on the wall. If you remove them carefully, you can be safe, but overall all good quality, strong glue, easy to use, but a little bit expensive.
