My husband need the sandpaper ASAP. The auto body supply store was out of it. They could not say when the next shipment would come in. I found it on Amazon, using the part number. I ordered it, he used it, and it was cheaper than at the auto body supply store. He have not heard any complaints from my husband about it, so it must have done its job well.

As others have experienced the edges of mine were curled. Upon closer inspection it didn't look like water damage. I figured it was from humidity during storage. Works fine in my 1/2 sheet sander. Also, on my Dura-Block sanding blocks (I apply spray adhesive to the paper, then let dry before applying to make my own PSA), though sometime it curls off. Overall it sands well. I've found 3M abrasives sand faster, last longer and have a more consistent grit size than most other brands. Also this aluminum oxide lasts MUCH longer than the wet-or-dry (silicon carbide) in the same grit when sanding gelcoat at least. UPDATE: Today is extremely humid, and my entire pack of paper is curling way more than in the photos. Now we know humidity is the cause.

I've been using 3M Sandblaster 180 grit sandpaper for several years. It's what I use for my final sanding on all of my furniture projects. A few months ago I couldn't find it anywhere online and ended up ordering a new version of the product. Didn't like it nearly as well, so I contacted 3M. I was told that the original Sandblaster sheets have been discontinued, but this product is the same thing and is sold as an automotive product. I'm not sure why 3M discontinued the Sandblaster sandpaper, but I'm really happy that I can still get it in different packaging.

3M Gold is pretty much the best sandpaper for sanding wood. If you are reading reviews on sandpaper, then you probably realize that there is a difference between sandpapers. It's kind of a sad day when you realize that you're a discriminating sandpaper buyer, isn't it? Well, it's less sad when you find a sandpaper that rocks. Here it is, buy some.
