I replaced the head harness from a probably 12 year old respirator. The elastic on the original were totally shot. No give at all, more like strings.The replacement's elastics seem to be better quality (in addition to being new). Wider, and (subjectively) more elastic than I remember the originals were when new.It clipped on to the mask easily. No complaints.

This is a perfect replacement for the old headgear that lost its elasticity. it was easily snapped into place and works as expected. highly recommend this replacement!

Breathe new life into your mask. My elastic was shot ( I replaced it once with wife's supplies ) and then the harness broke and I fiberglass taped it.Realistically I didn't use it enough to buy a new one. It was on that ragged edge of need.But I used it enough (finishing solvents) and my son used it for lawn mowing (allergies)When searching for masks and updates mid-covid (you know - when stuff started coming back into stock) I found this harness replacement. SNAG!So right now my older mask (rubber still showing some age) has 2 of the pink P101 oil/vapor/particulate (but not organic) filters on it. Perfect for lawn mowing and a daring run to a packed Wally or Pub Lix store.Side note, while investigating I discovered the 6503QL mask (3M/Amazon). I LOVE the "cam lever" loosen / tighten feature of it. If you pop it on and off a bunch (or want to - for fresh air or a break) it's easy to loosen , flip the harness down, and let hang from your neck. Or just loosen. It costs a bit more - but to me worth it for the longer finishing sessions. That said this harness/mask saves you a few dollars and is fine for a lawn mow or a shorter finishing session.Check both out - and renew your mask with this.

Fit original mask with no problem. Has decent elasticity for comfortable fit, The straps could be better by being an inch or two longer like the original.

My headgear had gotten pretty worn, and I'd permanently creased the plastic by hanging it incorrectly for a couple years. Very happy I didn't have to replace the entire respirator. This got me fixed up, it's clean, not worn, and not creased!

The description states " pack of five", this is not true, you only get one. These items are very overpriced. It is cheaper to buy a new mask complete with straps. Not impressed, Mike Mews.
