These are extremely effective filters. The joys of the modern world... Being able to stand in and breath in air that would normally be fatal, and instead breath safe air, is pretty amazing.Do not skimp and get the 3rd part BS, your life and health is worth the extra 10%If you're on the fence, just buy it, your lungs are fragile, and you can't survive more than a few minutes without them. Protect them!!

I've been using 3M filters for years. I have multiple masks, and have used these filters for wood working, grass cutting, and other activities where particles are generated in the air. Great way to reduce using the fume filters when they are not needed.

Not Much to say it's a great product if you need this type of respirator filter!When I bought this it was the best price around for theses, idk if that is still true though as i bought these years ago but still got some in stock and loved em.

It was clean breathing in even the thickest smoke. The others who where with me without a mask had cough, irritated throats and burning lungs. I had none of that.I ended up going with the Secure Click 3M half mask because of it being easier to pull air through do to the 4 intake areas, as opposed to two.Also check out the Bosch HEPA cabin air filters. It worked well for my vehicle at filtering out fire smoke.

These are effective at keeping small particles out (i.e., working with hay, grass, wood sawing). I've no way to measure protection from microparticles (e.g., smoke, particle pollution, etc.) so trusting the manufacturer is key.

They were a perfect fit for my 3M half face respirator. Did not add noticeable weight to my respirator. Will order again.

Great for sanding especially when refinishing. Remember to use the VOC cartridges instead when painting or staining since this is just a particulate filter.
