I now have TWO sets of Peletor tactical earplugs; had to send a tep-100 in for repair because of the off/on button coming off..the NC repair station doesn't repair them but they sent me a used/demo one for customer satisfaction. A VERY good 3M company! While this was going on I bought a new TEP-200 set and love them..up to 16 hours on a charge...and they sound better.

I have had the original set for about 8 years. The switch on them started to only work occasionally taking a number of attempts to turn them on if they even would. Rather than replacing the entire kit, I ordered these replacement ear pieces, they work just like the originals except that they verbally warn you before they shut off rather than the beep on the originals.

Fortunately I have a TEP-100 and I can compare, the authentic ones only have 2 volume levels, this one has 3 and it doesn't even resemble it in quality, it could be the electronics of an EEP inside a TEP-100 box, so it's not the same. announced.I do not return it because from Spain it is a nuisance.

The TEP 100 is my favorite hearing protection, but they're small and easy to lose, especially if using them at night, I've always found them but someday I might not..One of my earbuds was on the fritz after half a year of heavy use, it was starting to make buzzing sounds, then I shot a Barrett .50BMG and it just stopped working.Not surprised.Glad I could buy a replacement earbud instead of rebuying the whole unit.

I've been using these for @ 3 years. They are all day comfortable with skull screws. I will use electronic muffs over these at indoor ranges, works fine. I had to replace one because the plastic extension the scull screw fits onto broke off. Manufacture was very difficult to get on the phone. I went through 5 or 6 different phone calls before finding someone from 3M that could tell me that defect was rare and the warranty had run out. I bought this replacement hoping this doesn't happen again.

Had my first set for a few years before the electronics started to give out. I put them through hell with constant training/deployments/range time etc. Held up great all things considered. Bought my second set just recently.
