Looking for a solution for my labrador retriever, who slips in the bathtub. We have a fiberglass insert plastic bathtub type thing which theoretically has some traction on the bottom, but in practice, is quite slick. We are very pleased with the use of application, performance, waterproof, does not peel up, Easy to cut with regular scissors, Excellent value, And nicely coordinates with our bathtub. Significantly increases safety for all who use the bathtub. I highly recommend doing the product instructions and rounding the corners to prevent them from peeling up. As others have said, the traction is the perfect amount on your bare feet human or furry. It’s not too sharp, but it helps you gain enough traction you don’t slip even with air conditioner, body oil. It also is not gritty And does not leave sand as other products I’ve attempted to use have. I’m impressed with the name brand 3m adhesive. It really does contour well to the sides of the bathtub and is outstanding. I’ve bought several for gifts for family members and friends, and highly recommend this product to improve safety for seniors, and those who are as clumsy as me and my labrador. A very inexpensive solution to help upgrade safety. And it’s not ugly!! Very pleased with the performance of this product. I bought a second roll for myself as well to use in other spaces. Just keep in mind the directions tell you not to use it in an area that’s underwater all the time like the bottom of a swimming pool, but certainly it holds up to extensive showering.

If people say it didn't work, they must not have installed it correctly. The install was very easy; I didn't use any extra adhesive but I did trim the corners to be rounded. I cleaned & dried the tub real well. I used a scraper (like a credit card) to press strips down. I don't remember if it said to let it cure for so many hours or days, but if it did, than I followed instructions. Those strips NEVER MOVED or CAME UP! I moved from that house about 7 years from when I installed them & they still were in perfect condition. I highly recommend!

I'm a nurse got this for a client shower so she doesn't slip has really good grip. You must make sure the shower floor is dry completely wipe it with some rubbing alcohol put these strips down push and push and push them and then use a hair dryer kind of to heat them as you push them down and the last forever.

We have a fiberglass shower and tub. Theses straips work great in both. We are getting older and being in a slippery shower can really be unsafe. Now we have the straps on the floor and we feel alot safer. Easy to use, measure, cut, and stick on the floor of a clean shower or tub.

I'm in the sign business, and we use a lot of 3M films and adhesives. Their product is always top notch, and this is no exception. Never the cheapest, but always great quality and science in every product they sell. I have an acrylic shower pan at home that is VERY slippery when wet, especially when soap is present. I'm 69 years old, and though I have always been very cautious in the shower and have never fallen, I've had a few slips, so I decided it was time to get some non-skid strips installed.I bought the 2" wide strips and spaced them 2" apart from edge-to-edge, and it works perfectly. I can't make myself slip now. The material is quite thick, with a VERY forgiving and removable adhesive. If you don't get it down just right the first time, you can easily pull it up and reposition it, which is an amazing feature. Just follow the instructions, make sure your surface is very clean, and you will have the best possible non-slip surface you can achieve with an adhesive film like this.The surface is textured, of course, but it is the perfect combination of grip and comfort. It does not scratch your feet, so you hardly know it's there, but it provides a perfect non-slip surface. You will not regret paying for 3M quality!

This tape is extremely easy to apply. The adhesive is so good!!!! I bought other brand before and they didn’t last even a month after they got wet. I got this tape two months ago for my elderly mom to put in her shower and it has been perfect. This tape is thicker than other brands, they adhere so good, it’s really good price and they are really clear so my granite shower doesn’t look ugly.

Installed several weeks ago in tile shower. No issues. To everyone out there. There are cheaper versions of this tape available that are not 3M. Read about all kinds of issues with adhesion. That's why I buy 3M.I recommend the clear for a shower. you can actually see the tape adhering to the surface so you can press on it until 100% complete. Also, clean the tile and dry, I used bar keepers cleaner and gave the tile a good scrub. Tape adheres great to a DRY surface. Wife liked it so much she asked if I could do the entire shower floor - UGGHHH!

It could be our tub floor texture but it doesn’t stay on for long. Our tub floor is not completely flat and has a texture meant to help with grip but is slippery with softened water. The 3M grip is great but started to come off within 2 months.

I place it in our bathroom, after that i took a shower, it mentioned to be water proof but it is not, i slipped and hurt my self

It's an excellent product, used in in my parents bathroom. Completely transparent and safe. It's three times the price of overseas so feel value for money is a bit less.

So, I actually got this to provide grip on things that can be troublesome in the shower - a scrub shampoo container is pictured. It's working great!It's just textured, not gritty, so it provides extra grip on smooth surfaces without being uncomfortable. I've also used in on some body scrubs and a bath brush with success.Since APPARENTLY just making these items easy to use with wet hands is too difficult, this grip tape is a wonderful work around.
