Your cart is empty.Scotch-Brite General Purpose Hand Pad 7447B combines flexibility with effective cutting action and precise hand control to accomplish tough cleaning jobs like paint prep and coating/corrosion removal and produce fine finishing results, use after use. Very fine grade aluminum oxide mineral cuts fast and fine, leaving a smooth, finished surface on metal, wood, plastics, ceramics, porcelain, glass, rubber and composites. Scotch-Brite 7447B is comparable to steel wool grade 1. However, unlike steel wool, Scotch-Brite pads 7447B won't shred during use, rust after use, or create fine metal splinters. The nonwoven, open-web material resists loading and can be used dry or with water and solvents and rinsed clean for reuse. This multipurpose 6” x 9" maroon pad can be used by hand for precise control, with a hand pad block for uniform finishing, or on an in-line sander to cover large areas. This flexible sanding pad uses aluminum oxide abrasive mineral, which is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its cut-rate and long life.

I tend to fabricate in aluminum and steel and have found these pads absolutely priceless! Yes, you're pay a slightly higher price for original 3M but for the longevity and quality of the product and the finished results, they're absolutely worth it!This box is really large and holds enough pads to probably last more than a year in my small shop.Overall, I would absolutely, hands down, no questions asked, highly recommend these pads.Durable as heck, easy to use, cleans parts quickly for finishing or paint prep, simply the best.I would absolutely recommend these pads.

We use a very specific red scotch brite for dry sanding in the auto collision industry. If you’re looking for that fluffy scotch brite that is easy to work the edges of something…this is not it. This is only good for straight panel sanding or with water only. It does the job it’s supposed to, but not what is pictured and not what I purchased. 2 stars only because it scratches a surface

love the pads, 2X the cost of my last order (4 years ago) but way more than 2X the pads. Only regret is the number of pads.....would have easily opted for fewer....

A bit of rubbing makes aluminum tubing nice and bright. A a touch of Noalox and you'll have a nice long-lasting low resistance connection between the sections. I cut them in half as they're pretty large.
