These were a life saver for Oklahoma winter. I’m not sure how they would work for those who live in Antarctica level cold further north, but these worked great for us in Oklahoma. Easy to slip on and off and kept our hydrants from getting wet and freezing closed.

It didn’t arrive until after the big freeze but it still was just what was needed for the tallest spicket. Much more convenient than the older wraps.

I bought this and another similar but when received and opened the packages, this brand was much better and worth the $3 higher price. The materials for this cover are definitely superior when compared to the other product. We have a farm in Ohio and when we have freezing rain this will be great and we won’t have to bring out pitchers of hot water to turn on the hydrants! This cover has Thinsulate for the interior and I know it will work much better than the other that had a cheaper fill.

The brand name and long length availability is why we chose this item over others that were similar. We were not disappointed. Where we live in ground sprinkle systems are not cost effective and we have three above ground faucets in various areas that servce as our sprinkle system. Since we also live in an area with numerous spans of freezing temps we needed to be assured that our above ground faucets were protected. While we use a three level protection process on our pipes we wanted something that would go over the entire protection system. These serve the purpose superbly and will look professional as well. When you open the box do not be surprised by the thinness of the items as when the plastic package is opened they expand and are quite beefy. We are very pleased.

These really help with the freezing temperatures and keep the well facet handles from freezing.
